I just came into a 1991 El Dorado Touring Coupe.  It has now twice burnt the #5 fuse (under the hood fuse panel on drivers innner fender well) which powers up injectors 2, 8, 3 and 5.  I''ve checked the harness and I didn''t see anything obvious.  It has relatively new Accel 19# aftermarket injectors.  It''s an intermittent thing as after I change the fuse, everything is good.....runs tip-top....for a while.  Anyone else had this happen?  Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Injectors are probably less than 10,000 miles old.  It happened when my brother was driving down from Portland.  They stopped to get gas.  Upon leaving the station, it was missing.  Same circumstance with me.  We were going from Redding to Sacramento and stopped at Granzellas in Williams.  Upon leaving, it was missing.  No codes.  I cleaned up the 1,3,5,7 harness that runs under the air box.  I replaced most of the plastic conduit that had deterioated.  Drove it a little today.  Running good.

Thanks.

I recommend that you test each injector and see what you got.
