Status: offline hello i have a 1997 cadilac deville when i go to start it the security light stays on and it only cranks any help would be appreciated

Status: offline My advice on this one is to disconnect negative battery terminal for 20 minutes. Reconnect and use your spare key to start the car. Let us know what happens.
