I have a 93 deville and when you start up the car, the heat is at full blast and there is no power to the heat controls to shut it off.  The gas gauge also does not work now.  All the fuses are good and so I dont know if its an electrical problem or something else.  Help!

Pull the blower fuse for now, at least you can drive it without getting blasted. Hard to diagnois electrical problems on board.

Probably a maxi fuse underhood drivers side over wheel well. Check owners manual to be sure.

Thanks i found it.  there is some kind of power going to both the heat control and gas gauge thing, but cant control either one of them.  there is just a lowercase "d" displayed in each of the boxes.  very strange.
