sls2004 -> XM radio in 2004 SLS (6/28/2008 5:53:47 PM)
I just purchased a 2004 SLS and would like to have XM Radio in it. When I push the PTY button on the lower right corner of the radio a message comes on the radio saying ''No XM Service'' or something to that affect. This tells me that the radio should be XM ready but when I push the Band button it only lists AM, FM1 and FM2. My question is what do I need to do to get XM to work?

You need to contact xm, they will tell you how to get the ID # and tell you about their plans. Not hard, you just need to sign up and pay. Good luck.
