i just got a 93 sts with 91919 miles on it and on the way home i noticed the temp was 230 degrees is that motor over heating or is it normal for a cadillac

i live in san diego so the weather here isnt very hot

I''d say a little on the high side. Up to 225 is okay. Why not replace the coolant with new and then you can have some peace of mind. Limp Home mode kicks in at 248 degrees I believe.
