Recently I purchased a 2007 STS. I've been reading the on line owner's manual that I downloaded from GM. This shows options for both the STS and STS-V. Is this a misprint in the book or did the options change during the year?

Page 310 - 311
Audio Steering Wheel Controls

Right Side Controls For STS-V are:
(Volume)
(Seek) (STS-V Only) and 1-6 (Preset Stations)

Right Side Controls For STS
(Volume)
(Seek) (STS Only)

Why does mine have the Seek and Preset switch?

Thewood,

I just looked at my steering wheel. Mine is an 07 built in May 07. It's just the regular STS V6. My steering wheel control is the same as the one discribed on page 310 for the STS-V. That is strange. Maybe they ran out of buttons??

My 2007 STS Northstar build date May 07 with Nav system also has the STS-V control.
