The radio on my 2001 deville quit working. It flashes on with driver preset info when the car is started but immediately turns off. The digital clock on the radio works.

Also, the reverse light are not working.

Suggestions?

Most likely a fuse.

I have the same in my 2003 Deville,,,the fuse is OK,,,I dont know about back up lights?? I just bought a new used one on Ebay for $100 bucks. I think its a internal problem in the radio. It would cost $50 bucks for a tech to say "you need a new radio",,then its prob 2-300 bucks for a radio from the dealership.
