Good luck getting a headlight assembly. Exactly a year ago by 2002 STS was hit and the body shop had everything that needed replaced put back together except for the headlight assembly that was completely unavailable - anyplace. After two months of waiting and searching, the body man called in a few markers and found all the parts here and there to put together a new assembly (non H.D.). I wanted the car back and felt sorry for him because he had 95 % of the job completed but couldn''t get a dime for his work and purchased parts. One story he told me, and you can believe it or not, is that there were two assemblies in the whole Southeast, but you really had to be a VIP in order to get one. Another was that Cadillac was moving production of the units to China, and they hadn''t got started yet. Now, a year later, maybe the situation has changed. He supposedly passed up an assembly on ebay for $1400 as the insurance company wouldn''t cover it. At least I had a free loner for all that time.
