Just stopped to say Hi.  Found this site after purchasing an '05 CTS about a month ago. I was looking for information about water pump failures on the 3.6, mine failed 2 weeks after I bought the car.  It was covered under warranty, as my CTS was "Certified" and only has 36K on it.  Is this a weak are for the 3.6, or was I just lucky?  Otherwise I love the car.  I traded out of a Mustang GT and was worried I'd miss the power of the V-8 (can't justify the CTS-V), but so for the CTS has "sufficient" power, at least until I can start tweeking things a little.  I've never owned a "stock" vehicle, don't see it happening now.

Looks like you're going to put your own V after the CTS emblem
