I just revieved a mint 93 Eldorado from my grandfather with 41,000 miles. I can't sell it because he loves the car nor do I want to. On the other hand, it is a little out-dated for a 22 yr old male. I need some advice on what I can do to give the car a fresh new look (exterior and interior). Also, what I could do to make it more fuel efficient? I really could use any advice at all that would make it a better car. Please don't be shy in your responses. The more information you could tell me about this car the better. Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it. When it comes to how much money I have to spend it depends (I'm working all summer). Lets just say I have $2,000 now. I'm loving the white leather seats but the red carpet has to go. How much would it be to change them? I will post up some pictures when I get home tonight. Other then that, what would be the best upgrades to do on a $2,000 budjet? Besides the expected cleaning of the engine and getting the car detailed. Thanks again for all the advice, Matt

You should post some pics of the new ride. Lots of stuff you can do to update the look and have everyone turning their heads. Wheels, lowering kits, blackout lenses, exhausts system, sound system, lambo doors(if that's your thing) etc. etc. Don't know your budget. Give us something to go on. But you can make that '93 the envy of all your friends in your age group.

Also wood grain kits, custom grilles, spoilers and lots more. How much money to spend is the real question.

All you need is some 22s on it and some flowmasters. It might even run you 2,000 if you find good used 22s on craigslist.

As Foxpaws said , a spoiler looks great. I am an old fart of 50 years, but even I have a spoiler, with LED brake light bar, ProLine custom wheels and stainless steel lower trim kit on my 1997 Eldo ETC. There is lots you can do, depending on how 'deep' your pockets are.

DO NOT SELL!!! I have a 91 Eldy, and she was a gem in the rough (faded paint, chipped trim, etc.) But nothing mechanically wrong when I got her from my great-uncle, and with a lil time and patience (and digging for a fewer rarer parts), now I have a gem. I found a lot of parts usings Ebay. And believe it or not- Junk Yards! I''m painting her candyapple red with 8 clear coats. And since I have the 2 door, clothtop, And some of the trim is gold, I revamped it with chrome and gold trim. Two Tone! The paint is really the only "too flashy" thing about the car. I love it though. I have half-inch white walls, but I got all 4, for $400.00 new. I''ve been thinking about adding some vogue rims and tires, but I can''t find a good enough deal. Any advice?
