Biggest tip I can give you is to advise DO NOT GET THE COIL BANKS WET. This will be very expensive, be careful........................

I use a detergent like Simple Green or the equivalent and spray all areas (except coil bank). Do it when engine is cold, and don’t use high-pressure water since the blast can penetrate connectors and other sensitive equipment. After rinsing with water, heat engine by driving a few miles to evaporate all of the water.Bottom line?…be careful with the cleaners and water spray!

I do the same on all engines .. drive the car a couple of miles, park it and let it cool down for 15 minutes .. after it cools down some, wrap the distributor, the coil bank, the throttle intake modules, jack up the front so I can spray underneath, then spray with FOAM engine cleaner .. rinse the fenders, the painted areas. follow instructions after that. as soon as you are done, and drive it a few miles to dry her out totally.
