I saw this wedge cup holder at Wallymart .. it slides between the seat and the center console.
at the same Wallymart I also saw another one that has a round tray connected to a base by a tube and a swivel/u-joint at each end.

my car has this one, got it at the local RV supplier.
But i like this one the best .. for the Allante
although after using this one for years, i got spoiled ..
and now for the IN-N-OUT cheeseburger and fries holder:
