Component swapping between corporations is not new. Every car maker today is doing it. Examples: The Toyota Matrix and the Pontiac Vibe are the same car mechanically. Some Jaguar parts are sourced from Ford. Opel cars in Europe turn into Chevys here. Isuzu and Honda built sister SUV's, the Passport and I can't remembe what the Isuzu was. GM's Saturn Division: The Vue has a Honda motor. Sometimes, the sharing of components could be good. It depends on the situation. Then again, how would you really know if it was a Nissan part or a GM part?
