Well my drive way has too many in it. Just opening a Limo service 4 Lincoln and 2 Caddies a SUV and a Bonnie Pont, Something has to go.So this rare '92 Polo Green is the one. Only 50 made for 1992. So do I part it or looses it to Ebay? Ready to turn 200K run's like 2k. Still get's 26mpg and I but the rear amp's in. Which way should I go?

92's are the rarest for sure, but it doesn't mean much at this time, the 93's are still pulling down a slightly larger number. If you have to get rid of her now, she is definately worth more in parts, that is if you have the time to disassemble.

Allante nuts dont like anything with 6 figures. the price of the whole will be low. but the parts are still worth the same .. weird ?

If you figure the labor to disassemble the parts would be worth more then the whole. For some that would be lots of labor or someone else doing it for them at a cost. Now for me it would be fun to dismantle and hold an auction.

Cash of sales going to another car project. My 14 year old thinks in V8/V12's & "superchargers" is the ony way to go .. ...

Just had Junior home for the ?Holiday. Zal, don't miss one of those projects with your son as they just go too fast. Not a great deal on ebay but a ??? deal on craigs list! Anybody interested in a two thousand dollar car. Gentleman's plans were to make one great car from two drivers. Father owned blue from new! Hope Zal doesn't see this as he keeps busting my ----- over reduced pricing. $4500 no less until I told him I owned one and the price went to $4k for both. Don't need 3. http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/588485532.html

Don't need 3. http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/588485532.html Bill i love the blue ... but dont you think they are a bit high at $4,500 for the pair? I almost want to go back and rub it on JCS's nose, that this could never happen because "these cars were exempt from the standard statistical rules because these cars were owned by people that had the means to keep them going and therefore avoid the avg depreciaton" .. or something to that effect .. but .. i do respect the man and his opinion, no matter how wrong the opinion was ... I stand by the estimate of 8,000 survivors 4 years ago, made by someone tht knows better than me .. I simply add about 400 cars that are terminated each year .. we are down to about 6,500 survivors, most of them '93s .. the Phase II cars are becoming extinct, with the '92s leading the pack. The '92 production year was the low end of production at 1,933 cars, 253 of those in BlacK, and seems like about a dozen TRIPLE BLACK "100" series .. that my friend, is pretty damn low qty .. and yet .. still not a collectible. I will revisit that opinion in the year 2022 ... . .
