Well, the Caddy hot rod project is in full swing… Painting the lower valances, rocker panels and air dam, along with the soft top cover, the new hard top (my Craig’s List steal) and the grill, all pearl red. While all the body parts are removed from the car some maintenance on the engine – starter, alternator, hoses, belts (anything that is rubber). Caddy also has upgrades for many parts – so those are going in – serpentine belts, manifold cover. New plugs, wires, new water pump... The heads had already been replaced along with the timing gears. The car has been at the mechanic's for a while - I tell my neighbors who ask about it that the Allante is enjoying an extended stay at the car spa... A good shot of the starter within the engine... It has been postulated that perhaps I am adding a jet fuel option - with the fuel door missing... many parts enjoying time on the massage table... And the bumpers are enjoying a drink at the bar New wheels too... As I get more car spa vacation photos I will post them...

Fox, Remind us, how much HP are you expecting at the end of the spa visit? Where is the RED GRILL ? Is not in the pictures .. or did I miss it?

Stealth - the original grill is still on the car in these photos - I am having my sleaz-bay cheepo grill painted red - no need to mess up a pristine grill when you can get them for less than $50 with a few problems (which don't matter if it is all going to get sprayed anyway.) Ponies - not a lot of ponies added this trip to the spa - I will probably be running 350-360 or so... I am waiting news of another Allante owner's success with 'chipping' his '93 - he is going to get it dyno'd soon, and he will have before and after numbers for me, so that will probably be next, or perhaps a torque converter change -

I chipped my 93 years ago with little, but some noticable gain. Florida super chips.
