First off, I hope I posted this in the right forum. I've got the 429 in my '66 which I will need to rebuild this year but I was pondering the idea of swapping in a 472. I'm new to Cadillacs and I'm looking for as much info on what is involved in the swap. Thanks for your time and help, I appreciate it.

Should be straight bolt in. Exhaust manifolds and oil pan may need to be transferred. From pix your car is very clean, I would try keep it original unless major engine failure.

I vote for rebuild unless you are going for more mods, then it wouldn't matter to swap engine.
