I'm new to the Cadillac world and I'm loving it, but I have an issue with my tire sensors that will not go away. I've taken it to the dealer twice now and the left rear tire is always reading higher then what it should. Has anyone else had this issue?

How much higher, and what did the dealer tell you?

They said they didn't see anything wrong with the system. It's reading 6psi over what it should read which is why I keep getting the system check fail on the screen.

Hi, Stokes. I assume you have used a reliable tire gauge to be sure that the tire pressure in in fact 6 lbs over the others, then I would reduce the pressure to the same as all the others. ( I always carry 35lbs cold in all 4 tires and let the road heat increase the pressure to about 38-39 lbs.)  On my 06 DTS, the dash light goes off at anything above 40lbs.  Your owners manual gives a very thurough instruction about how to get the tires properly read but they do have to have the correct amount of air in each one. The whole system can get screwed up if you have had the tires rotated or changed rims for whatever reason. The test and adjust procedure takes about 10 minutes but before you start, be sure you have at least an honest 35lbs ( or whatever you choose to run ) in each tire because you will undoubtedly have to let some air out of one or more tires to syncronize them.  Read your manual and take your time and do exactly what it says. That should cure your problem.  Good luck, Henry Brigham,  Rockport, Texas
