Hello all, just baught the wife a '05 CTS. So far it seems to be a very nice car and sporty to boot. Is there anything I should look for or exspect?

O yeah, I was surprised that I can't find any dyno #'s for the CTS. I own a performance shop and will have this one straped on the roller's in the next few days. I may even do a little tuning on it to see what it will make and see if I can increase the already good gas mileage.

v-8 or 6?   Would be interested in what numbers you come up with and any fixes for mileage you come up with.  Let us know, and welcome to the site.  Thanks.

3.6L, my wife didn't want a manual trans car.

I'm kinda backed up in the shop but as soon as I get a chance I want to put it on the rollers and see what it's actually putting to the wheels. And I'll deff. let yall know if I come up with anything on fuel mileage. I did a '04 CTS V a couple weeks ago. It was bone stock with around 25k miles on it. It started with 306rwhp and ended with 328rwhp. This is a safe tune that increased fuel mileage and the over-all driveablity of the car. I was very impressed with the car and can't wait for him to get a CAI and exhaust system.
