he hooked up the computer to my car but couldnt get it to communicate. Im going to wait till the light comes on and leave it on and then drive it over to him. Maybe then the computer will tell me something.

thanks stealth, i always wondered how to do that. I pulled up the codes and i got E52, E39, and .7.0   The E52 is PCM memory reset. Is that normall? and the E39 is Torque Coverter Clutch/Viscous Converter Clutch Engagement Problem. So that must of been what is was so ill take it back to my transmission guy. Thanks again, oh and i dont know what the .7.0 was, any idea?

E52 is caused by ECM losing battery voltage. May have been caused when trans was replaced.

so my tranni guy put in a new torque converter, and now he says that hes getting more codes. I think he said Hes getting a code for a speed sensor now and still the torque converter code. He says the check engine soon light comes on just after 30 sec. of driving so he has to do some work. If i heard him right, what is a speed sensor and what would be causing its code to come up?
