my brakes make a squill noise every once in a while when i come to a stop. so i was going to check my brake pad thickness but i dont know what they should be at. Does anybody know what the thickness should be at on an 89' fleetwood FWD? Or where i can find the correct thickness?

Or where i can find the correct thickness? 1/8" thickness is the magic number for pads. they tend to crack, break, and fail below that. if you got rivets, they gouge your rotors below that. if the feelers are scrapping, replace the pads. they are set pretty accurate.
