I have a 2007 DTS and when I accelerate there is a rapid clicking noise that gets louder the harder I accelerate.  It's getting louder and now there is a slight vibration in the accelerator pedal that matches the speed and increased volume of the noise.  Any thoughts on this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Could it be a bad tire?  Noise and vibration could mean a busted belt.

Worn out or dry CV joint on one of the front drive axles. Turn the front tires full left look at left side CV boot for being torn?, then turn full right and do the same thing.
