This company offers warranties for home appliances and we seem to be experiencing
a trend of "claim denied" and  "repair denied".  After years of paying for services.

The very latest was a furnace failure, "claim denied due improper installation."
Furnace was installed in 1960.

Anyone else?
Is this a fluke?

You can get a warranty on a furnace that is almost 50 years old?

They provide a warranty .. hmm .. maybe wrong words  .. home appliance insurance on all
home appliances regardless of age.

Kind of like buying a warranty for yourself .. err ..  I meant "life insurance."

They don't make anything like they did in "the old days!"

This reminds me of a similar incident I saw on a station near home.

The home warranty company would not warranty the A/C that came with the house and gave the homeowners the run around.

The frustrated homeowners called the local stations consumer affairs reporter and got a "one-time" exception from the warranty company.

Nobody likes bad publicity, might be the way to go.  Call your local station(s) if they have a reporter that covers such items

Here the link from the station I saw it on.
