Would someone have a diagram or picture of the drain plug on the transmission on a 2002 ETC?  I would like to drain and fill my transmission but can't determine where the plug is.  Thanks.

There isn't one. You will have to take lower pan off, clean gasket and re-install pan and gasket.

That is disapointing.  The pan will only get out about 4 - 6 quarts.  I was really hoping to be able to do better.  Thanks.

I checked another Cadillac forum and came up with this:

The side cover drain plug is only accessible once the pan is dropped. I spent a H*ll of a lot of time looking for it before I dropped the pan, too.

It's a 1/4 NPT hex socket pipe plug located about midway along the side of the trans. Here is another one:
AKP, the filter is a metal screen, just needs cleaning. There is a bolt hidden behind the screen that drains the upper portion of the trans. There are links with pictures but I think it was a 10mm head. Someone may have a better description. The pan gasket should be reuseable if it's original (it could be getting hard).

While you have the pan off check the solenoids for cracking. They should not wiggle. Can anyone further amplify either of these?  Thanks.

I dont know i you have a transmission cooler, but that can also offer ways to "pump" fluid out in cars that do.
