Newbie here, any hints on how to change the front 2 speakers in my 83 coupe de ville?? I see them on the dash but am worried about cracking the opening open, not even sure if thats the way to do it, help!!!!!!!

Hey Alen: When I changed mine I just pryed gently on the grille and the two lugs ended up breaking off (just plastic) then when the speakers got changed just a couple dabs of silicone to hold the grilles in place. You will have to have the speedo assembly out and the glove box liner as well to access wire connections. You will probably want to run new wire if you are putting in some bitchin' speakers. I used Infinity speakers and it really brought the old girl alive.
