Can someone help? I just replaced the alternator and battery on my 2001 Cadillac Deville. When the car is idling the service electrical system and battery warnings do not come up on the message system. However, when you are driving the car the codes come up. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be now?

cam4562, welcome to the forum. I'm a newbe myself. You'll receive a lot of good helpful advice here. BTW, you posted in the "Coup Deville" section. You car is a Deville, correct? Anyway, the pros will likely ask you to retrieve the codes and post them here. Heres the link if you're not familiar with the procedure. Also, check out the FAQ and General Tech forums as well. A lot good info is in there. http://myweb.accessus.net/%7E090/cadidiag.html Hope this helps. -jasper
