Status: offline I am new to this forum and recently bought a 92 Cadillac Deville. I have an intermittent starting problem. It will sometimes start and then sometimes it won't start(crank over). My security light stays on while cranking and I have tried my spare key. The battery and connections are clean and tight. Sometimes idf I watit about 5-10 mins it will start. Does this sound like a VATS problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Status: offline Yes,If keys are in good condition, most likely one of wires from igntion cylinder to base of column is broken. Hope it helps
