i have a 96 sts and the ebcm wiring harness started smoking after i replaced the alternator. when i removed the harness it was destroyed, i am assuming corrision caused this, has anyone ever heard of this happening? I also figured that this may have been the reason the alt. wnet out in the first place. I asked alot of my gm friends and they never seen this before. Have any of you guys seen this???
