ORIGINAL: rickyd As we approach the 6th anniversary of Sept 11th, we should pause to remember the events of that day...these photos tell the story...many of them I had not seen before http://s238.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/rickyd1228/?start=all... throughout all of the criticizm that has been launched against the current administration toward the war in afghanistan and iraq, we have to keep in mind that we have not seen another 9-11 on US soil since this horrifc attack. rickyd We Americans live in bliss, in a paradise of sorts. We dont like our style rocked too much. You will probably will be criticized for bringing back memories - that is the social structure of the day. However, IMO, to forget the pain of the past guarantees that the horrors repeat. We should and we must remember the pains of yesterday. We as a society, are slowly forgetting. BTW, not only no more 9-11's in US soil since that event, but nothing, and I mean nothing, except lots and lots of bad guys in the jails of the world. We also all know the islamic nuts are trying and trying, w/o success. Someone is doing a pretty decent job. Why is that? If we had another event, everyone would blame the administration - "The Buck stops here", but we must not give credit when nothing goes wrong "The Buck dont go here". .
