Hi my name is Llogan. I am new to the Cadillac forum and was just wandering if anybody owns the SRX? If so I was just wandering if anyone would mind providing some information about it. I was just wandering what model do you own. Does it seem to be holding out pretty good. Does it seem to be a good vehicle. Do you get lots of compliments on it. What is the gas mileage on the SRX that you own. What kind of features does your SRX provide?

I have an '04 SRX, V8, AWD, with the ultraview roof, Raven paint over Ebony leather. Other options include the navigation system and six-disc CD changer. The only options I didn't get are the magnetic damped suspension and XM Stereo. Understand you can't get the roof AND XM. That doesn't make sense given the On-Star antenna perched at the back. My Avalanche, for example, has On-Star and XM antennas on either side of the front roof. A similar arrangement would work in the front or the back of the SRX. We're going to install a portable XM receiver. Once you've had XM, it's a hardship to do without. I park in a company garage so everyone knows when you get a new vehicle. I've received several compliments on the car including one from a supplier from Cincinnati who I drove to a luncheon engagement.

I love high-horse vehicles, particularly when the horsepower is housed in a Cadillac. This vehicle is incredibly powerful yet slick. My '97 Eldo ETC had so much torque, coupled with the front-wheel drive, it could be a handful when thrashed. I haven't yet thrashed this car but it so far is very mannered and smooth. While I prefer American-style torquey power, am enjoying the SRX very much. The exterior is very unique and many of the looks I receive are probably from people trying to determine what it is. I wouldn't be caught dead in a soccer-mom foreign job, e. g., Lexi, Bimmer, etc.
