1973 Cadillac ElDorado Help with dropping fuel tank
I have a '73 Eldorado that has been in storage (inside) for about 7 years. It was running great when it was stored, so it should be fine now. My question is: Does the gas tank have a drain plug or are these tanks easy to pull so I can drain the bad gas? Also, should I be looking for anything special with regard to the cadillac (I'm usually a muscle car guy, so all these bells and whistles are very new to me). Thanks!

I have never seen a drain plug.
most fuel tanks are easy to pull down, usually a couple of metal straps hold them up with 4 bolts.
Being a '73, I would spray the bolts the day before, let the penetrant soak in, then tap them lightly.
you will have to disconnect the fuel lines, electrical connections on the top of the tank, filler hose, etc., before it can be completely lowered to the ground. Exercise caution and dont break anything - it will ruin your day.
