Default Coolant

I added the proper coolant to my car (1994 ETC) and I noticed that there is no overflow tank. There is just a hose coming out of the coolant cap and it goes straight down to the gorund where it is now dripping...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

Hello peopleeee....I asked a simple question and I get no help. Is my car supposed to have an overflow tank for the coolant, or is it supposed to just drip out onto the ground and contaminate the drinking water? Thanks

The tank you added coolant to is the surge tank.
If you overfill it it will purge coolant out onto the ground.

There is no additional overflow tank.
Typical of most new cars.
