Default Rough engine idle (started today after ....) Now with codes

let me first say that any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance. The car is a 1999 STS

Today on my way into work in the wee hours of the morning while it was rainingI was behind a truck. Going down the last road beforeI turn the truck goes through a large puddle of water. I check my rear view and sides and there is really no where to go soI go through the water as well. Immediatelly afterI go through it the engine starts to idle/accelerate/run roughly/sluggish. I really dont know what is wrong with it. the car started and drove whenI went home but it was still sluggish/rough just like before.

So, any ideas? Should I drive it or not? any help is greatly appreciated.

thank you,

Touringsedan

NO I havent, no lights came on. I thought you only ran the codes when service lights came on. Should I run them anyway?

And the codes translate to:

AMP (amplifier) U (network) 1064 (Loss of Communications with DIM )
IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster ) B ( Body) 1983 ( Device Power Circuit Low )
PCM (Powertrain Control Module ) P (Powertrain) 0300 (Engine Misfire Detected )

Now can anyone translate this any farther, given the situation. I dont know what the first two would have to do with the situation butI am not a tech.

Well I dont have a place to let it sit inside but I parked on a hill nose up (dont know if it helped) but when I when out this morning and restarted it turned over just right and seems okay. I am due for an Oil change soon so I think I will go ahead and have one done, and have them check the air filter while they are at it and see if the spark lines need to be replaced. This was not deep water andI have been through water before without this happening, makes me think something is due for service. SO there you have it, thanks rickyd. I only would have thought to pull codes if a service light was on. thanks.
