I have a 1996 Cadillac Deville base. It has good fuel pressure and spark. I have 12volts at injectors but seems my pcm is not sending the enable injector signal..... The dic says theft system problem/may not restart. Vehicle cranks and can be started with starting fluid or i can ground injectors and they will all spray fuel. the vats system is bypassed with the pellet resistor soldered in. It does have an aftermarket radio the purples are looped to trick computer to think it is still there. Please help I have looked and looked and tried everything I can think of. I would really like to see a tdm/bcm/ipc bypass of some sort i can fab up or get semi cheap.

 

Codes ? Did car start since bypass? With message on DIC it seems to be related to pass key.

 

I will have to get the codes tomorrow I know one of them was ip2750 I dont know where to find the code info. yes it was my friends a while back and he did the chip bypass and drove it for a long time. It was at the shop and they lost the keys... it has been rekeyed by a locksmith and the battery has died and that is when it quit wanting to start. I have tried the 30 min relearn and no luck. Tried the dic universal theft deterrent over ride got one flash with my noid light after that then nothing.

 

There is no irc data? Do I need to get the interface or a oem stereo to get it to run

 

the codes will come up on dic. The radio shouldn't matter. If you press off and warmer buttons the codes will display. IRC data relates to oem radio

p1631 theft deterrent code incorrect. I would recheck vats bypass. IPC 2750 is also vats code.

 

Do you have a wire diagram to check volts and hertz at the bcm?
