The main problem is that a lever for the telescoping steering wheel covers the main hex nut and cannot be reached. The lever is press fitted and wont come off without bending it. Any one know how to remove it without destroying it?
I need to replace the ignition key and lubricate the metal parts. Thanks

 

Not sure what you are looking at. The lever will have 2 or 3 screws holding it to locking screw. Screw can be removed to access nut.
