My girlfriend has been looking into getting an early 2000's Cadillac Deville, but she is specifically wanting a Cassette deck in the stereo.
Availability on some of the Deville models that include stock cassette decks has been scarce in our area, so we were wondering if it would be possible to replace the stock stereo in a 2004-2005 Deville model (that does not include a cassette deck by default) with an older Deville model's stock stereo that does include a cassette deck on the stereo.

I got looking at the pinout for the gm32 connector (which I believe both the 2003 and 2004-2005 models have in common) and I don't really see any difference between these few years, but I may be wrong on that assumption. I'm reaching out to the folks on this forum to see if this would be a possibility, or if I'm sadly mistaken and there would be a problem with this stereo swap.
