Hello I am having a small problem with my injectors. 6 out of 8 are ohming out very low,and well they are no good. my question is , my friend has a older 5.0 ford fuel injected, and I have been doing a little research on this topic, they say they are interchangable? is there anything specific I should look for or do? should they ohm out the same/ do they requier the same voltage? or should I just go to the junk yard with an ohm meter and start lookin for sevilles? any help in this would be great.

 

The Fords will probably work. Most injectors are made by Bosch and are sized based on engine size. So the difference between a 4.9 Cad and a 5.0 Liter Ford is marginal. my experience is the body of the injector is color coded based on spray size. Make sure and replace ALL injector seals at the time you replace them.

 

i have the same prob. 6 out of 8 are bad on my 91 deville.. i am wondering the same thing about interchangeable ones..i do not have the money for new ones
