Thumbs up V Academy near vegas

Just bought my '17 CTS-V in October and realized it came with prepaid 2 day "V Academy" located at Spring mountain race track resort near Las Vegas. Had to provide my own transportation to and from Vegas airport, but, that was it as all else was included by GM.
I have to share that I was reluctant to burn 4 days of vacation (2 days travel, 2 days of V academy), but, after deciding at the last minute to do so the week before Xmas, I am extremely happy to have done so. The class was awesome, the instructors (Rico, Rocky and Blake) were unbelievably talented, patient and helpful. I learned so much about what the CTS-V and ATS-V can do that I would never have figured out with my own car. Met a small group of classmates that were all fantastic people, as well.
It was fun as hell running the heck out of someone elses Caddy on a real race track!!! I couldn't be happier that I decided to go. if you're on the fence about doing this, take my advice and go....you won't regret it!

Sounds like a great time. I'm personally interested in the "running the heck out of someone else's Caddy" portion of the trip!

3 months ago I just got my 2016 ATS-V and also got the Cadillac/Invitation to the driving school in the black box but I don't think it paid for 2 days and had to get there on my own dime. I haven't looked at since but I'm pretty sure it was just an invitation only.

Still sounds like it would be worth laying down your own coin to attend. An invitation to thrash top shelf metal from The General...SIGN ME UP!
