Hi new member new caddy owner...i have had 2 new batteries installed by caa on the installation of the 2nd one after testing and observation the alternator is fine pumping 14.2 the starter is good however we noticed the gas door would pop open about once a minute and there were other glitches coming from the cd player ....we retested and found that the amps jumped .7 every time the gas door opened the dropped to near zero.....so there was a draw on the battery as the car was never sleeping i need to find the sourse of the draw on the batteriy if it is a short or if there is a junction box somewhere that needs to be replaced....none of this seems to happen when the car is running,,,help thanks

 

Give us more information about your caddy. Any accidents on the car? Any alterations to the radio system or HID lights etc....
