I drive the car to work 25 min- after 4 hours battery voltage is down to 9.2 needs boost.
Drive home park in garage 14 hours - battery voltage fine. Has done this every day for about a week.
First thing I see happen is fuel guage goes to empty (after about 20 min of driving)
other things begin to happen - interior lights (on door switches go off
-temp gauge goes to cold.
-amp quits (radio display stays on)
-doors wont lock
-doors wont unlock
-instrument panel goes black and then reinitalizes
-damper relay under back seat chatters (when key off)
-many DTC's mainly UXXXX (communications)
Car has always run fine while these things happen, critical systems never fail.
I have cleaned many of the grounds
Can anyone help?

 

Check E- ghost tread in FAQ. I am guessing you have already verified battery is good. You will need to post the codes from all the modules, also is car stock - no mods?

Some of these codes have never come up before, such as the driver seat codes.
Usually the first sign of a problem is the fuel guage going to zero than comming back again, then the electric door locks quit working.
If I disconnect the negative from the battery overnight, I can go up to four days without a problem.

Also do you know how to read these codes with an ELM327 PC based code reader, what is the hex command to send.
