Does anyone have a good (read cheap) source to get the Screw in tow hook for a 2009 SRX?

GM is a little proud P/N 10367821 its also used on 05-11 STS. The cheapest would be Pick n Pull style salvage yard. You could go to bolt supplier figure out what size hole is then get a grade 8 or equiv bolt, a nut to lock it, and have ring welded to it. Good luck with your search.

 

After a little more research, I found the following. The little cover on the front bumper does not have a hole to screw the tow eye into. Only the back bumper has the hole.
