Should just be the element itself in the seat bottom

This is my first post so please be easy, I'm also new to Cadillac. Back to the seat , I have the same problem as discribed. Can anyone tell me if the element is breaking in the same spot or can it be repaired ?

I have a technicial background and have repaired a fewPC boards in my day.

Thank You so very much

Mine had this problem too (2002 Seville). Had to get the bottom element replaced. The element is inside the bottom cushion so they have to replace the whole bottom of the seat, that's why it's so expensive. I had mine installed out the door for $350. Good luck.

Same issue with my 2000 Seville, all seat warmers work except for drivers. Sounds like I need to check the fuse 1st. Is it under the rear seat?
