Default 1995 Seville sts heater core replacement

Can anyone please give me direction on replacing the heater core on a 95 Seville STS. Heater core blew and was bypassed about a year ago. Now car is having issues with over heating. Have replaced water pump, belt is still taught. Replaced one of the fans and they seem to be working although I couldn't tell you if they switch from low to high with rising temperature. It seems that they just go one speed, turning on at about 226-235 degrees. Replaced the thermostat. Occasionally there will be a coolant leak with no rhyme or reason as to when. Figure it might have to do with system pressure. But since the heater core is part of the cooling system, I want to replace it and see if that helps. I have been told you have to remove the whole dash but I have also been told that it can be done through the glove box. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you for your consideration.

Remove glove box and hush/underdash panel. Remove programmer. Panel that programmer mounts on covers heater core .Panel bolts in. Should take maybe a couple hours
