Allante junkyard wrecks
just a taste of what awaits most Allantes.
Just over 21,000 made, less then 6,000 roadworthy cars left.
The onslaught continues.

the car was a marketing tool for a shop in the N.E.
It was sold in 2008 and the new owner wrecked it about a month later after losing control in rainy weather and spinning into a highway curb .. I consider it one of the saddest losses since I knew about this particular car for years. If you look close, you will also see that a wheel is missing as it got sheared off on impact.
The good news, is that to this day, of all the wrecks I have followed, I can only account for ONE fatality and that was a roll over into an embankment.
These Allante cars are made to protect you, the riders. If you see any Ferrari wrecked, you may also notice that the cars disintegrate and the occupants literally open the doors and walk away. The Allante was of course built by the same folks in Turin, Italy.
BTW, what I said does not apply to the 1993 Allante which has diminished safety functions. The safest are the 1990-1/2 to 1992 which have all the safety functions and air-bags.

posted this in Tony's tree fell thread sorry Tony!
This was a California car that I bought for $2700 and paid $800 to ship and got $500 for fender damage. decided to part it for a lot of different reasons. Have $3000 in it and have collected $5350 so far (excel spread sheet of all 100+ items when finished). I still have the seats, all upholstered interior (promised dash to JCS) and all sheet metal.
Learned a great deal but getting weakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.............
