Default New owner. WHAT IS SHE DOING!!!!!!!

hey just got my first escalade.

its a 2002 escalade awd 6.0 244,000 miles

well im getting a service message that says - Service stability control - Security - and service engine soon

on the way home from buying it the service engine and stabil lights came on.
AS WELL as the front brakes seem to be applying themselves when you have your foot on the gas and are trying to accelerate you can feel and hear the brakes being applied without any use from the driver.........so we got home and the next day i took it up to get the check engine light figured out

it reads : Faulty engine controle module (ECM) wiring

as well as that dreadfull P0420 emissions code. says Bank 1

so anyway yea looks like shes got some stuck wrong with her.

any suggestions on where to start?

is the ECM just like a plug and play? or would a new one need to be programmed or something?

do ya think the emissions code is just a o2 sensor? or do i need new cats

why would the brakes be applying themselves?

wasn't my first pick for a car but the wife just had to have it.

like i said none of these lights were on at the purchase. and the brakes seem to be only acting up at random time. drove all day yesterday and they were fine. but after i got home i drove down to the end of my street and they started acting up again.

i don't know sorry for rambling i'm just so lost with this thing

with the P0420 you can hope changing both left O2s correct it, They are cheaper than cat conv. Stabilitrac can effect brakes need to find out what codes are stored and go from there. PCM requires programming - dealer thing. It's 15years old with a lot of miles anything is possible. It is also possible after you correct these few "hiccups" it wll be trouble free ....just no way to know
