I'm hoping someone here has an answer for me. After cleaning all grounds and connectors I still had the problem of my losing my display. It appears that the 1992 eldorado/seville are year specific models and many parts cannot be interchanged with other years. Anyway, I purchased a known good used cluster and got it installed. The question is this...........do I need to go to a dealer to have the odometer synced to the milage on the original cluster? I thought I had read here that the milage was stored in the computer and would transfer to the new cluster when installed. I have not road tested this new cluster as of yet but plan to within the next couple days. Any help here would be appreciated.
