My 99 Eldorado ETC has a Fault Code of B2471 PZM. Interior lights fault. I checked fuses and didnt find a bad one. I now picked up another Body Control Module out of a 99 at the salvage yard and tried it...still no lights. So now Im looking for the Courtesy Lamp Relay. I think its supposed to be in the location of relays under the BCM behind the back seat but there are 4 sets of relays there and I dont know which one it is? I have the FSM and it does not tell you what realys those are. Does anyone know which one in the sets is the Courtesy Lamp Relay?? I bought the car with no Int lites working and have checked bulbs..its not all the bulbs burnt out. Any help on this is much appreciated...Thanks!

 

I would look in section 8A for wiring diagram. There should be a component locator in the sub-section. I think car should have "theater diming" meaning light gradually go out, which would be controlled by a module.

 

This is frustrating me. I guess Im gonna have to take it somewhere. The manual sucks for telling you which relay is the "courtesy relay". I looked at the wiring diagram and just says its in Rear Comp Relay Center 2. There a 6 relays in that block. All the same part #. I took one from another Relay Center and pulled every one and put the replacement in one at a time...Nothing. I dont know what else to try......

 

Can anyone help me out with the PART # for the INADVERTANT POWER RELAY? Its a 99 Eldorado ETC. This is the relay mounted on the Left front shock tower. My relay does not have any sort of part number on it. I looked at online GM Parts sites and cant find anything on it. I'd like to have the part # as I dont trust these dumb kids working at Advance or Autozone. I appreciate the help...Thanks

 

I got the Inadvertanat relay from a dealer. Put it in and now my wipers work but still no Interior lites. If a bulb is burned out somewhere will all not work?? Dont know what else to try.....Dam
