Default Need help with 2002 ETC

I am new to this forum and new to Cadillacs. I recently purchased a 2002 ETC, the car of my dreams. I have a couple of questions that I need help with. I searched the forum and did not see what I am looking for.
1. Does this model have a cabin air filter? If so, where do I find it?

2. I need to remove an interiordoor panel, can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance.

You will need to remove panels that hold lock and window switches. There sould be a screw behind lock switch panel. There is a hidden screw behind flap at lower rear of trim panel insert, with all screws removed lift door trim straight up and ii will come off.IF YOU PULL OUT YOU WILL BREAK HOOKS ON PANEL!requiring new one $$$$ or trip to dealer to have hooks repaired not always successful

Thanks for the response. Does the trim panels for the lock and window buttons just pry off with a screw driver? Someone who removed the right side panel before I got the car broke all the panel hooks. I was thinking of using hook and loop tape to hold it in at the bottom. To replace the panel is $500.00 at the dealer.

Can anyone tell me about the cabin air filter?

Thanks.

Eldos never had cabin filters.Trim around lock will come off ; prying with pocket screw driver or with your fingers.Window switch requires small screw driver or putty knife to depress locking tag on the end of the switch panel.Hope it helps

Thanks slowroll, I appreciate your help. Without it, I am sure I would have screwed something up.

Happy to help. With your door panel with broken hooks, there is a repair kit at the dealer that contains metal hooks designed to replace / repair the broken ones. The hooks are 8.-15.00 ea. They are different izes and ar color coded by location ,old hook is trimmed and metal hook is epoxied in place .However I am not sure they will sell them over the counter.Thru service I expect it would cost 150-225.00 to fix and re-install panel ,so if there is a problem it is not put back on you - improper installation - pay again.Hope it helps

slowroll, local dealer is going to replace hooks on the door panel for $150.00. The first dealer I took it to wanted $500.00 for a whole door panel. Never mentioned that it could be repaired. I really appreciate techs like you. Thanks.
