i have an engine coolent leak
whats up everybody, let me start by saying that i have a 2000 cadillac eldorado (esc). can somone tell me why my eldo's fans do not turn on and why my antifreeze leaks threw the small hose connected next to the cap on the antifreze container? that usually happens only when i turn the car off. what is the average temperature for these cars? the needle on my temp. gauge is usually right over the middle, that is if it's not overheating. if my a/c is not working, does that have anything to do with the fact that my fans wont go on at all. and y cant i program my speedometer and temperature to miles and ferenheit? Ever since i changed the battery, it has turned to the metric system. i have tried wat the manual says but it doesnt work. I also have a problem with my gasoline gauge, it always reads full. wat could be the problem? can someone give me the answere to these problems, this car is my only source of transportation so i have to make sure it doesnt fail me.

turn on the A/C and that should start the fans.
the small overflow hose probably needs replacing, it is normal for coolatn to flow back and forth .. but the hsoe should not leak or you wil lose coolant.
gas fuel gage? something needs fixing, connector, sensor ?

if the hose was not meant to leak, then y is it there? is it possible for the chip on the gas pump to be damaged?

the hose is supposed to be connected to the overflow tank.
what does the gas pump have to do with the coolant?
