The part number on this is 3178891 and it also has number 1-1251 B and it is marked CONVONLY, which I assume means convertible only. We had a 1972 Eldorado convertible so I thought that it possibly could have been for it.

If anyone recognizes the part, what it is and what it goes on, I would appreciate any help you can give me.
