ELDORADO BLINKER/UNDERDASH WIRING DIAGRAM
I got some side maker arrows for the mirrors for my ETC but i dont want to have to have to run the cables ALL THE WAY to the blinkers in front of the car, I want to splice them into the cables underneath the dash instead of trying to run wires through firewalls and making my work harder. Can anyone tell me where I can find the cables for the blinkers underneath the dash so I can connect the markers ? Thanks

The wiring going to the front and rear signals exits the steering column at a multiwire connector. With a test light you can probe each wire till the test light flashes. Then you can either scotch-lock the added lamp wiring to these wires or cut and splice.

Just remember that the front and rears are seperate curcuits. If you back probe wires with turn signal on, you will get 2 wires flashing the test light. To determine if you are probing front or rear, shut the turn signal off and push the brake pedal, if the test light glows steady, you are probing the rear turns/brake lights. Also, I am sure you probly already know , don't probe any air bag wiring, which is usually a bright yellow connector, or you might damage airbag module , or accidently inflate airbag.

I'm not going to do it with a test light, I'll probably use my multimeter, put the black to ground and test with the positive. Now that you mention it I gotta lay low when I probe them because of the air bag.
